‘Night Stalker’: Netflix Releases Trailer for True Crime Docuseries

The series will be available to stream on January 13.

Another documentary series in the true crime genre is on the way from Netflix. This one will chronicle the heinous crimes of Richard Ramirez, the psychopathic serial murderer who terrorized Los Angeles in 1985, and the manhunt to bring him to justice. Titled, Night Stalker: The Hunt For a Serial Killer, the series looks to be a fine companion piece to The Ripper, Netflix’s British-based serial killer docuseries, which premiered yesterday.

It’s becoming increasingly difficult to keep track of the streaming service’s content of this ilk. And the more we binge on lawlessness as entertainment, the more of this material we’ll be treated to.

You can watch the trailer and read the series synopsis below. Night Stalker premieres on January 13.

Beneath the sunlit glamor of 1985 LA lurks a relentless serial killer, a willing acolyte of evil. Two detectives won’t rest until they catch him. Witness the story of one of the most vicious serial killers in American history, a real-life boogeyman that brought California to a standstill.
