The first trailer for Netflix’s Mank, the new film from David Fincher (Mindhunter, The Social Network) has arrived, and it appears to be the most stylish work the director has created thus far.
Gary Oldman, who took home an Academy Award for his portrayal of Winston Churchill in 2017’s Darkest Hour, stars as screenwriter Herman J. Mankiewicz. The film, shot in black and white on the RED Monstro Monochrome, depicts Mankiewicz’s turbulent endeavor of penning Citizen Kane.
Also starring Amanda Seyfried, Lily Collins, Arliss Howard, and Tom Burke (as Orson Welles), Mank opens in select theaters in November and arrives on Netflix on December 4. You can check out the trailer below.
